Paul Day was born in 1967 in Horsham, England. Upon finishing his education at Cheltenham School of Art, Day began working professionally aided by a grant from the Prince of Wales Business Youth Trust. Day has spent more than twenty years developing a highly personal approach to figurative sculpture using high-relief, an art form that combines drawn composition and fully rounded sculpture. His sculptures in terracotta, resin, and bronze have been exhibited widely throughout the world.
