Eric Goulder

Eric Goulder was born in 1964 in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Amherst College in Massachusetts as well as the New York Academy of Art. His figurative sculptures, fabricated in bronze, crystal, silver and marble are a reflection of contemporary society and its contradictions. Goulder’s work examines the human spirit’s struggle for identity and can be simultaneously beautiful, disturbing, sensual and dramatic. His work has been exhibited at the Mead Art Museum at Amherst College, the National Sculpture Society in Fairfield, Connecticut, and the Arnot Art Museum in Elmira, New York. His sculpture Arise is permanently displayed on the campus of the California State University, Fullerton. Goulder has participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout the country. Additionally, Goulder’s work has been featured in Sculpture Review and The Washington Post.
